Walking
From Casemates Square in the city center, Nelson's Anchorage is approximately a 30-40 minute walk. Head south along Main Street, then continue onto Rosia Road. Follow the road along the coastline; you'll pass the Trafalgar Cemetery on your way. Nelson's Anchorage will be on your left, just past the University of Gibraltar.
Public Transport
Several bus routes serve Nelson's Anchorage. From the city center, take bus routes 3 or 4 and disembark at the Rosia Plaza bus stop. Nelson's Anchorage is a short 2-minute walk from the bus stop. A single bus fare is £1.80, and a return is £2.50. You can pay with a credit card or exact change in cash.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Gibraltar. A taxi from the Gibraltar International Airport to Nelson's Anchorage will cost approximately £20. From the city center, expect to pay around £7-£10. Taxis have a flag down rate of £3.00, plus additional charges per unit (60 meters or 15 seconds). Additional charges may apply for extra passengers or luggage.
