Getting There

Cable Car
The most common way to reach the Skywalk is by taking the Cable Car from the base station near Alameda Gardens. From the frontier or airport, take Citibus Route 5 or 10 to Market Place, then connect to routes 2, 3, 4, 7, or 9 to the Cable Car base station. A single bus ticket costs £1.80, or opt for a £2.50 day pass. The Cable Car runs continuously, approximately every 10 minutes. Once at the top station, it's a short, downhill walk to the Skywalk. Cable car ticket prices vary depending on the type of ticket (one way, round trip, nature reserve access etc.).

Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, it's possible to walk to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve from the town center. Follow St. Michael's Road uphill. Note that this is a steep climb and requires a Nature Reserve ticket to access the Skywalk. From the entrance to the Nature Reserve, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to the Skywalk. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and water.

Taxis are available from the airport, frontier, and various points in town. A taxi tour to the Upper Rock, including the Skywalk, typically costs £8 per person plus £8 for the Nature Reserve entry fee, with a minimum of 4 people. This usually includes other attractions like St. Michael's Cave and the Apes' Den.
