Admirals Place is a prestigious residential estate nestled in the calm of Gibraltar's South District. This exclusive, gated community was developed in 2001 by Hopefield Property Ltd. on the grounds of the former British Military Hospital, later known as the Royal Naval Hospital. Originally built in the 1730s, the hospital served British military personnel and local sailors for many years before being converted into Military Married Quarters in the 1950s.In the late 1990s, the site was redeveloped into the luxury residential estate that stands today. The developers sensitively preserved the original roofs and facades, earning the development a Gibraltar Heritage Award. Admirals Place features a courtyard of lawns and flowerbeds, lined by terraced houses and apartments. The estate offers panoramic views of the Straits of Gibraltar, Spain, and Africa.Admirals Place is ideally located a short drive from the city center, commercial and financial districts, restaurants, leisure facilities, the hospital, and supermarkets.
