Walking
From your current location in Moorish Castle, start by heading down the main pathway leading out of the castle grounds. Follow the signs toward the 'Upper Rock Nature Reserve'. Once you reach the entrance, continue straight until you reach the main road, known as 'Main Street'. Turn left onto Main Street and continue walking downhill. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you toward 'Catalan Bay'. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach a junction. Take the right turn onto 'Catalan Bay Road'. Follow this road, which will lead you directly to Catalan Bay. The beach will be on your left as you approach.

From Moorish Castle, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the entrance of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Board the bus that is heading towards 'Catalan Bay'. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Be sure to inform the driver that you wish to get off at Catalan Bay. Once you exit the bus, you will see the beach directly ahead. Follow the pedestrian path to get to the beach area.
