Interesting Roman ruins
Well worth the drive from Algeciras or Tarifa. Good signage available in Spanish and English. They are still excavating the site, so be on the look out for archaeologists. We walked around for about an hour. There are 2 restaurants right next to the site. Space is spread out so no issues with crowds. If you're interested in Archaeology, ruins, or Roman history, highly recommend coming here for a visit.

An impressive historical site
Baelo Claudia is a spectacular site to learn about part of Roman history. The ruins are very well preserved and the setting, next to the sea, makes the visit even more special. It is very worth it to explore it calmly and enjoy both the history and the landscape. A highly recommended visit.
