From Casemates Square, head east towards the city center. Walk up the Castle Steps, following signs for the Upper Rock Nature Reserve and Moorish Castle. The entrance to the Nature Reserve is near the Moorish Castle. Note that you must purchase a ticket to enter the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.
Public Transport
Take bus routes 1, 5, or M-120 to the 'Artillery Arms' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the base of the Castle Steps. Bus fares are approximately £1.50.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Gibraltar. A taxi from the Gibraltar International Airport to Casemates Square, near the entrance to Castle Steps, will cost approximately £10-£15. From there, follow walking directions to the steps.
