    From the Moorish Castle, head north along the Moorish Castle Estate road. After a short walk, you'll see signs for the Northern Defences on your right. The entrance is located at 10 Moorish Castle Estate. Note that the area involves steep inclines, irregular steps and unpaved paths.

    Take bus routes 2, 3, 4, 9, or 10 to the Moorish Castle bus stop. From there, walk up the pathway leading to the Northern Defences, following the signs. Bus fare is approximately £2.
