Walking
From Main Street, simply walk north towards the end of the street. Grand Casemates Square is located at the northern end of Main Street and is easily accessible on foot. The square is a short, straightforward walk from most points in the city center. No costs are associated with walking to the square.
Public Transport
If starting from Queen's Road, catch a bus towards the city center. Alight at the main bus terminal near Casemates Square. The bus fare is typically around £1. From the bus terminal, walk straight towards Casemates Square, which is just a few minutes away.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Gibraltar, including at the airport and the border crossing. A taxi ride from the airport to Grand Casemates Square takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is around £13.60 for a 5km ride, with a base fare of £3.60 and £2 per km. Additional charges may apply for extra passengers or luggage.
Car
If driving from North Front, head southwest on the A1 road towards the city center. Follow signs for 'Gibraltar Town Center' and then for parking areas. Several public parking lots are nearby, including Gibraltar Marina and Ocean Village, with parking fees of approximately £2-£4 per hour. Be aware that parking can be limited. From the parking area, it's a short walk to Casemates Square.
