    From Casemates Square in the city center, head north on Main Street. Continue onto Governor's Street, then turn left onto Line Wall Road. Turn right onto Willis's Road, and follow it uphill. The Moorish Castle will be on your left, at the northern end of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Note that the walk is steep and takes approximately 25-30 minutes. Entry to the castle is included with the Upper Rock Nature Reserve admission ticket. Nature Reserve tickets cost £30 for adults and £22 for children (ages 5-11).

  • Public Transport

    From the Gibraltar border or city center, take Bus Route 1 towards the Upper Rock. The closest bus stop to the Moorish Castle is Willis's Road Terminus, the last stop on the route. From there, it is a short walk to the castle entrance. A single bus fare costs around £2. Note that entry to the castle is included with the Upper Rock Nature Reserve admission ticket.
