Getting There

Cable Car
The easiest way to reach the Skywalk is by taking the Cable Car from the base station near Alameda Gardens. The ride takes about 6 minutes to the top station. From there, it's a short, downhill walk to the Skywalk. Cable car tickets can be purchased online or at the base station. A return ticket costs approximately £19 for adults. A Nature Reserve ticket is required to access the Skywalk, which is included in some combined tickets.

Public Transport
From the city center, take bus routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, or N8 S to the Cable Car base station. Alight at the bus stop closest to the Cable Car, such as Elliott's Way or Alameda House. From Sandy Bay, bus number 5 will take you to the 'Upper Rock Nature Reserve' stop. From there, you can walk to the Skywalk, which is about a 20-minute uphill trek, or catch a local shuttle bus that runs to the Skywalk for a small fee of £5 for a round trip. A single bus fare is around £2.

Walking
For those who enjoy walking, it's about a 20-minute hike to the Skywalk from the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Follow the marked trails from the parking area, which leads uphill to the Skywalk. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially if you're visiting during warmer months. Note that the Upper Rock Nature Reserve is not accessible to visitors using private vehicles.
