Public Transport
From the Gibraltar border or the Cruise Ship Terminal, take a local bus to the Boyd Street Terminus. Bus lines 2, 3, 4, 5 & 10 will drop you off within a short walking distance of the Cable Car base station. From the Boyd Street Terminus, walk south along Main Street, then turn left onto Red Sands Road. The Cable Car base station is located at the end of Red Sands Road, next to the Alameda Gardens. A single bus fare is approximately £2.20.
Walking
From Main Street, head south towards the Alameda Gardens. Turn left onto Red Sands Road, and the Cable Car base station will be at the end of the road, adjacent to the gardens. The walk from the city center is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Shuttle
A free shuttle service is available from the Gibraltar border to the Cable Car base station for those who have pre-purchased their tickets online or at the Gibraltarinfo kiosk. The shuttle departs every 30 minutes from the left side of the road, just before the runway. Be aware that traffic may cause delays to the service.
