Walking
The Royal Calpe is located on Main Street, easily accessible by foot from most central locations in Gibraltar. From Casemates Square, walk south along Main Street; the restaurant is located on the left-hand side at 176 Main Street. Walking is a popular mode of transport in Gibraltar due to its compact size.
Public Transport
Several bus routes operate along Main Street. Routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10 have stops near The Royal Calpe. A single bus fare is approximately £2.20. The GibraltarPass includes public transportation.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Gibraltar. You can find taxi ranks at the airport, the border, and Casemates Square. A short taxi ride from the airport or border to The Royal Calpe will cost approximately £7-£10. Note that there are extra charges for additional passengers, luggage, and airport surcharge.
Parking
Parking in Gibraltar can be limited and expensive. There are public car parks within walking distance of Main Street, including Ocean Village Car Park and Midtown Coach and Car Park. Parking costs approximately £1.30 per hour. Alternatively, you can park in La Línea de la Concepción (Spain) and walk across the border. The Constitución Frontera Gibraltar car park is close to the border and costs approximately €2.90 for the first hour and €21.95 for the day. Blue zone street parking is also available for £1.00/hour.
