The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens are located south of the town center, just beyond the 16th-century defensive walls and Trafalgar Cemetery. From Main Street, walk south towards the Trafalgar Cemetery; the gardens are a short walk further south from there. The George Don Gates serve as a notable entrance. Admission is free.
Public Transport

The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens can be reached by bus. Bus routes 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 stop near the gardens. From the Gibraltar Airport, take bus 5 or 10 to Market Place Terminus. From there, it is a short walk to the gardens. A single bus ticket costs approximately £1.60. A Hopper ticket, allowing unlimited travel for a day, is available for £6.00.

The gardens also house a notable collection of palm trees and cacti.Within the gardens, the Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park provides a sanctuary for rescued animals. The gardens also feature historical monuments, including the Eliott Memorial, commemorating Governor George Augustus Eliott.
