Getting There

• Cable Car

  The most common way to reach the Skywalk is via the Gibraltar Cable Car. From the city center, take a bus (Routes 2, 3, 4, 9, or 10) to the Cable Car base station near Alameda Gardens. A single bus ticket costs £1.80, or purchase a day pass for £2.50. The cable car ride to the Top Station takes approximately 6 minutes. From there, it's a short, downhill walk to the Skywalk. A Nature Reserve ticket, which includes access to the Skywalk, is required. Cable car tickets and Nature Reserve tickets can be purchased separately or as a combined ticket. Round-trip cable car tickets are approximately £19 for adults and £9.50 for children. The Nature Reserve ticket is approximately £13 for adults and £8 for children.

• Walking

  For those seeking a more active approach, it's possible to walk to the Skywalk via the Mediterranean Steps. This challenging route begins near Jews' Gate and ascends steeply along the eastern side of the Rock. Upon reaching the top, a Nature Reserve ticket is required to access the Skywalk. Remember to wear appropriate footwear and bring water, as the hike can be strenuous. A Nature Reserve ticket is approximately £13 for adults and £8 for children.

• Shuttle Bus

  Shuttle buses are available to transport visitors to the summit of the Rock. From the 'Upper Rock Nature Reserve' stop, you can either walk to the Skywalk, which is about a 20-minute uphill trek, or catch a local shuttle bus that runs to the Skywalk for a small fee of £5 for a round trip.
