The bridge was designed to minimize environmental impact, supporting Gibraltar's eco-tourism goals by encouraging pedestrian exploration.Crossing the bridge provides panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Strait of Gibraltar, the Bay of Algeciras, and the North African coastline.
