From Gibraltar, take the A-381 towards Castellar de la Frontera. The drive is approximately 30 minutes, offering scenic views of the Andalusian countryside. There is plenty of parking available near the entrance to the castle. Parking is free.

From Gibraltar, take the number 6 bus from the main bus station at North Mole towards La Linea. From La Linea, transfer to a bus heading to Castellar de la Frontera. The bus will stop near the entrance to Castillo de Castellar. The total journey time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Bus fare from Gibraltar to Algeciras is about €4-€9.
