Know before you go
Hi, I'm Eve. Here are a few practical things to know before exploring Apes Den.
- Exercise caution and maintain a safe distance from the macaques, as they are still wild animals and can be unpredictable.
- Do not feed the macaques, as it disrupts their natural foraging behavior and can make them dependent on humans.
- Secure your belongings, as the macaques are known to be curious and may try to grab food or shiny objects.
- Combine your visit with other attractions in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, such as St. Michael's Cave and the Great Siege Tunnels.
- Check the cable car schedule in advance, especially if visiting during peak season, and consider purchasing tickets online to avoid long queues.
