From the center of Alexandroupoli, head to the central bus station (KTEL). Look for a bus heading towards Mákri or the nearby beaches. The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for Παραλία Αγίου Γεωργίου. Once you get off, you'll find signs directing you towards the beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Alexandroupoli. Head towards the coastal road (Leoforos Dimokratias), and continue straight for approximately 7 km. Follow the signs toward Μάκρη, and you will see the beach on your right as you approach it. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes.

For a more scenic route, you can walk to Παραλία Αγίου Γεωργίου. Start from the city center and head east along the seaside promenade (Paralia Alexandroupolis). Continue walking along the coast for about 7 km. This walk may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, offering beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding area. Once you reach Μάκρη, follow the signs to the beach.
