Getting There

  • Metro and Ferry

    Start your journey at the Monastiraki Metro Station in the heart of Athens. Take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) toward Kifisia. Get off at Piraeus Station, which is about a 20-minute ride. Once at Piraeus, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Salamina, which operates regularly and takes about 15-20 minutes. When you arrive at Salamina, disembark and head towards the bus stop right outside the terminal. Board the local bus (often marked with 'KTEL Salaminas') heading towards the center of the island. Ask the driver to drop you off at 'Agios Nektarios', which is the stop near the Holy Monastery of Saint Nektarios. From there, it’s a short walk to the monastery.
