Exploring out-of-the-way sites in comfort
Great day - our friendly driver arrived early and confirmed what we were going to do during the day as we got started. He was great at pointing out local highlights, that we would easily have missed as we progressed. Having a local guide who was very familiar with roads and sites meant we had plenty of time to enjoy exploring and experiencing + a few unplanned activities too. The Monastery, caves and wine tasting were all fascinating + I finally found the sun hat of my dreams in a little village that made the best spanakopita in town. Happy to recommend our driver and the tour.

Beautiful countryside; ...
Beautiful countryside; long drive from Athens. Our driver Kostas was very professional and pleasant. Unfortunately, train has been closed for the foreseeable future by EU due to landslides. Other sites were great. Note: Kalavryta museum is closed on Monday, so we missed that as well.

The hidden gem of Greece
This is a true gem of a tour. The Pelopponesian peninsula is stunning. My driver Georgios was willing to teach everything from Greek language (how to read and pronounce), history of the areas and gyros vs souvlaki and the proper way to order it. The tour itself was a hidden gem. There were very few foreign tourists and mostly Greek people on holiday which made me feel like I was truly experiencing Greece as a local. The rack rail train trip was simply stunning and well worth it for the views. Kalavryta is a gorgeous town with great coffee. The scenery everywhere was stunning but the Cave Lakes were magical. I will visit again when the water is higher. The museum at the caves was very educational. I highly recommend this trip for anyone ago wants to see a less than common part of Greece.
