Bus
From Chania city center, walk to the central bus station located at KTEL Chania, on 1866 Square. Look for the bus routes heading towards Agia Marina or Platanias. Purchase a ticket to Daratsos. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Daratsos stop, exit the bus and walk towards the sea. Follow the road signs for Χρυσή Ακτή (Golden Beach), which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Chania. Simply tell the driver 'Χρυσή Ακτή' or provide them with the address: Papanikoli 6, Daratsos. The taxi ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are staying in the nearby areas such as Agia Marina or Platanias, you can walk to Χρυσή Ακτή. From Agia Marina, head east towards the coast and follow the beachfront promenade. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes. From Platanias, head southwest along the coast, which will take about 40 minutes.
