If you prefer to walk, start from the KTEL Bus Station in Chania and head north towards the main road, Odos Kydonias. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the intersection with the road to Akrotiri. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach the sign for Gouverneto Monastery. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
