Bus
From Chania city center, head to the central bus station located at Ktel Chania. Look for the bus that goes towards Platanias. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Platanias, alight at the stop closest to the main square. From there, walk towards the street named Αγίου Δημητρίου (Agios Dimitrios) and follow it for about 10 minutes. The War Shelter Platanias will be on your right side.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Chania. Simply tell the driver you want to go to War Shelter Platanias located at Αγίου Δημητρίου, Platanias 730 14. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have the address written down or saved on your phone to show the driver.

Walking
If you are staying close to Platanias, you can also walk to the War Shelter. From the beach area in Platanias, head towards the main road and go inland on Αγίου Δημητρίου (Agios Dimitrios) street. Continue straight for about 15 minutes, and you will find the War Shelter on your left.
