If you are in the central area of Platanias, head towards the main road, Epar.Od. Chanion-Omalou. From the beach, walk directly inland along the main avenue until you reach the intersection with Epar.Od. Chanion-Omalou. Turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see the Statue on your right. This walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Public Bus
If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for the KTEL bus that heads towards Chania. You will need to pay a small fare (around €1.50). Get off at the stop closest to Epar.Od. Chanion-Omalou, which is usually named after the statue. From there, walk for about 5 minutes in the direction of the statue, which will be visible along the road.

Bicycle Rental
Consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Platanias. Once you have your bike, head towards Epar.Od. Chanion-Omalou. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes. Follow the signs for Chania, and you will find the statue on your right as you approach it. Rental prices typically start at around €5 per day.
