Bus
To reach Butrint National Archaeological Park from Corfu Town, take the local bus from the Corfu Bus Station (located near the Old Fortress). You will need to catch a bus heading to Benitses or Kassiopi. Inform the driver that you want to stop at 'Butrint' or 'Paleokastritsa', depending on the route. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, follow the signs directing you to Butrint, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Boat
An alternative way to reach Butrint is by taking a ferry from Corfu to Saranda, Albania. Ferries depart from the Old Port in Corfu Town. After arriving in Saranda (which takes about 30 minutes), you can take a local bus or taxi to Butrint. If you choose the bus, head to the Saranda Bus Station and catch a bus to Butrint. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance to plan your trip properly.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Corfu Town to Butrint. You can find taxis at designated taxi ranks around the town or book one through your hotel. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes, and it's advisable to agree on a fare before starting your journey, as taxis might not always use a meter.
