From the Old Fortress, head east along the seawall promenade towards the city center. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the roundabout at the end of the promenade. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Kapodistriou Street. Follow this street until you reach Pl. Leonida Vlachou, where the Maitland Monument is located. It should be a short 10-15 minute walk.

If you are near Liston Square, exit the square and head towards the Esplanade. Walk across the Esplanade towards the Old Fortress and take a left onto Kapodistriou Street. Continue straight until you reach Pl. Leonida Vlachou. The Maitland Monument will be on your right after about a 10-minute walk.
