From the Old Fortress, head east along the seawall promenade towards the city center. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the roundabout at the end of the promenade. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Kapodistriou Street. Follow this street until you reach Pl. Leonida Vlachou, where the Maitland Monument is located. It should be a short 10-15 minute walk.
