Getting There

Walking
From the Delphi Archaeological Museum, head south on the main road for about 200 meters. Take the path uphill towards the archaeological site, following signs for the Ancient Gymnasium. The gymnasium is located north of the Temple of Apollo, about a 300-meter walk. Note that the Gymnasium area is currently closed to visitors.

Public Transport
If arriving by KTEL bus from Athens, the bus will drop you off in Delphi town. From the bus stop, walk west on the main street (Vasileos Pavlou) towards the Delphi archaeological site. Continue for about 500 meters, looking for signs to the site. Enter the main archaeological site and follow the path towards the Temple of Apollo. The Ancient Gymnasium is located to the north of the Temple of Apollo, a short walk away. Bus fare from Athens to Delphi is approximately €15 one way.

From Delphi town, a taxi to the entrance of the Delphi archaeological site is readily available. Ask the taxi driver to drop you off at the main entrance. From there, follow the walking directions to reach the Gymnasium. A short taxi ride within Delphi should cost approximately €5-€10.
