If you're starting from the central area of Heraklion, head towards the main square, Plateia Venizelou. From there, walk to the south side of the square and take the exit towards 25th August Street (Odos 25 Avgoustou). Continue walking straight on this street for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Chatzidaki Street. Turn right onto Chatzidaki Street, and you will find the Heraklion Archaeological Museum at the corner of Chatzidaki and Xanthoudidou Streets.
