Bus
From the center of Heraklion, head to the main bus station located at 2 N. Kountouriotou Street. Look for the bus to Milatos, which is typically marked as going to Agios Nikolaos. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you'll arrive at the village of Milatos. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the beach, which should be visible from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to Milatos Beach, and in about 10 minutes, you will reach the sandy shores.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Heraklion. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Milatos Beach. The journey will take around 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. This option is more convenient if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.

If you are in the vicinity of Milatos, and feel adventurous, you can walk from the village center to Milatos Beach. Start from the main square of Milatos and follow the road leading towards the coastline. It’s about a 20-minute walk, and you will enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you make your way to the beach.
