Wonderful Food Tour!

I would give this food tour 10 stars if I could. Magda is an excellent guide. We had so much food! All of the food was thoughtful and local to Crete. I love food history and Magda has a lot of insight on the history of Crete, culture and food traditions. We were with another couple so the size of our group was perfect and we got to make new friends.

Stavros was a personable guide and very knowledgeable about the city of Heraklion. We saw some unique architecture and learned some local, Crete and Greek history. The gyros were fabulous, as was the bougatsa. As if that wasn't enough food , we then sat down to a full meal of fried cheese, bread, salad, potatoes, egg plant in tomato sauce, fried zucchini, chicken and lamb, etc. There was so much food! We had no room left for icecream! Stavros served us a good bottle of wine on the way back to the hotel and gave us a lovely bottle of his of his very own olive oil. We would highly recommend this tour for a great sampling of Cretan food.

Amazing experience

We had a wonderful time with Ari! She is knowledgeable, personable, considerate and fun. We learned so much about Crete through the history and the food. I did this trip with my young adult daughters, and we all loved the experience. I would absolutely recommend taking this tour!!!
