Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Ioannina, head to the Central Bus Station (Ktel) located on 9th of November Street. You can walk there in about 15 minutes or take a local taxi. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to Papigo or Vikos. Buses typically run several times a day. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Papigo, ask the locals for directions to the Voidomatis River View Point, which is a short 15-minute walk from the village.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your accommodation in Ioannina to the Voidomatis River View Point. Simply ask the taxi driver to take you to 'Voidomatis River View Point' near Papigo. This trip will take around 45 minutes depending on traffic and costs approximately 50 euros.

• Walking

  For the adventurous, if you are close to the village of Papigo, you can walk to the Voidomatis River View Point. From the village center, head towards the river and follow the signs leading to the viewpoint. The path is well marked and offers beautiful scenery along the way. The hike takes about 30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
