If you are traveling by car, start from Zante Town (Zakynthos Town). Head southeast on the main road (GR-12) towards Vasilikos. Continue on this road for approximately 12 km. As you approach Vasilikos, look for signs for Dafni Beach. Turn right onto the road leading to Dafni Beach, which is a narrow, winding road. The beach is located at the end of this road. Parking is available near the beach, but it can fill up quickly during peak seasons. Be cautious of the road conditions, as it can be steep and a bit challenging.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Zante Town to Vasilikos. The local bus service operates regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Vasilikos, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to Dafni Beach. The beach is approximately 4 km from the bus stop in Vasilikos. If you choose to walk, follow the signs to Dafni Beach, keeping in mind that the route may be hilly and not well-paved. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi from Vasilikos to Dafni Beach for a more comfortable ride, which should cost around €10-€15.
Bike
If you are feeling adventurous, consider renting a bike in Zante Town. The ride to Dafni Beach is roughly 12 km and can be a fun experience. Follow the same route as you would by car, but be prepared for some steep hills. Once you reach Vasilikos, continue on to the beach via the narrow road. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay safe on the roads, as they can be busy.
