From the center of Kalamata, head to the Kalamata bus station located on 23rd March Street. Look for the bus that goes towards Areopolis or Lefktro. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lefktro, disembark at the stop closest to Epar.Od. Kalamatas - Areopolis. From there, it’s a short 10-15 minute walk down Epar.Od. Kalamatas - Areopolis road towards the beach.

You can easily find a taxi from various points in Kalamata, particularly around the central squares or the bus station. Inform the driver that you want to go to Foneas Beach in Lefktro. The drive will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the price before starting the journey.

If you are staying in the Lefktro area, Foneas Beach is accessible by foot. From the main square of Lefktro, head east towards Epar.Od. Kalamatas - Areopolis. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 km, and you will reach Foneas Beach. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the beach.
