Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Kalamata city center, head to the Kalamata Bus Station located at 23 Kolokotroni Street. There, you can take the 'Kalamata to Messini' bus. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Voufrada village bus stop. Once you disembark, you will see a sign for Polylimnio Waterfalls. Follow the sign down the road and take the path that leads into the forest towards the waterfalls. The hike from the village to the waterfalls is about 1 km and will take around 15-20 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from the city center to Voufrada village, start from the Kalamata port area and head east towards the main road (Ethniki Odos). Continue on the road towards Messini. It is approximately a 12 km walk, which will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the road signs leading to Voufrada. Once you reach Voufrada, look for the direction signs to Polylimnio Waterfalls and follow the trail leading down to the waterfalls.

  • Taxi

    You can easily find a taxi in Kalamata. Ask the driver to take you to Polylimnio Waterfalls or to Voufrada village. The drive will take around 25 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. Once you arrive in Voufrada, you can follow the signs to the waterfalls which are about 1 km away.
