    Highlight of our 3 week trip to Greece! Our guides Fotis and Trifonas made our canyoning experience through this little piece of paradise super fun and also very safe. They are absolute pros and were great with my two boys (10&13). The excursion includes a short hike, zipline, lots of rock jumping, rappelling 2 waterfalls & swimming. A perfect adventure through a beautiful area that finished with a lovely snack/lunch in a little cafe. The guides provided quality wetsuits & protective helmets (essential to bring your own water shoes) and took great pictures to capture this unforgettable experience. No experience at all is required but this activity is not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issue. Also note this isn’t a “course” with built-in safety nets so kids must be mature enough to listen carefully & follow the guides’ instructions (they speak perfect English) & keep up with the pace of the group. It’s a real adventure!

    Fun trip. It was a great mix of hiking, swimming, and rappelling--and the zip line was pretty cool! The scenery was beautiful, the guides were friendly and helpful (and took lots of good photos and videos), and we moved at a comfortable pace. Not too easy nor too challenging. We also enjoyed having lunch together afterwards. Delicious assortment of snacks: bread, olive oil, vegetables, and fresh figs from a tree that happened to be nearby. We would definitely do this activity again and recommend both it and the similar Neda Waterfalls tour.

    My two sons, aged 21 and 19, and I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure with Explore Messina. It was our first experience with canyoning (called canyoneering in the states) and it gave us enough of a taste to get us interested in doing more. It was an easy to do and we felt safe at all times. One caveat, earlier in the day is better. We did a 9:30 session and mostly had the place to ourselves at the start. By the time we were hiking out of the canyon at noon it had become very crowded and more people were arriving each minute that went by.

    Absolutely magnificent activity! We were with our 8 years old daughter and were a bit worried if she can do it, but the instructors made excellent job and all went perfect. They are not only high professionals, but very nice people who have excellent communication both with adults and children. The route is a bit demanding, but we’ve got so much fun and learnt new things. I would definitely do it again and, of course, it is highly recommended!

You will also have the chance to abseil the biggest and most notable waterfall. Here, many visitors come to swim and you often hear them applauding at you as they see you rappelling the waterfall. Your guide will accompany you during the activity to ensure a safe and fun canyoning experience. None of the jumps or abseils is mandatory, so feel free to use the footpath if you don’t feel comfortable enough. We finish our canyoning experience at the end of the gorge near the car park enjoying a tasty picnic and remembering the thrilling moments we lived a few moments ago.
