Could have done with more details on how things were made but it was a most enjoyable day out with our very knowledgeable guide Amina and Adonis our driver.

Eye Opening

We had a really amazing tasting with Constantina. Her enthusiasm and knowledge was exceptional and really opened our eyes about all the detail of the olive oil manufacturing process which gives a completely different perspective on how to consume and cook with olive oil. We would thoroughly recommend even for those not currently interested and are sure when you are finished you will have a different perspective. Don’t forget to get some of the excellent products from the shop.

A special afternoon with excellent food and new friends

Maria organised for us a fantastic cooking class and lunch with executive chef Kris Koumantos. From the very first contact Maria was exceedingly helpful and accommodating, taking particular care to make this a special birthday celebration. Chef Koumantos was also very welcoming and it felt like a privilege to be so warmly invited into his kitchen to learn a number of dishes we prepared together (enjoying a fine rosé as we did so!). The ingredients were all local, fresh and seasonal chosen from the local market just a short walk away. Maria provided lots of information about local food traditions during our meal and our cooking. So gracious were they both that it seemed more like we were sharing a meal with new friends than that were we were taking a class or having a touristic experience. Genuinely a very special memory. Thank you Maria and Kris!
