From the center of Kavala, head towards the waterfront. Walk along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. This is approximately a 20-minute walk. Once at the ferry terminal, buy a ticket for the ferry to Thasos. The ferry ride will take about 1 hour. Upon arriving at the Thasos port, follow the signs to the bus station located just outside the terminal. Catch a bus heading towards Golden Beach, which will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Golden Beach stop, and you will be just a short walk from the beach.

Take a local bus from Kavala central bus station towards Keramoti. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Keramoti, head to the ferry terminal and take a ferry to Thasos. The ferry journey lasts about 30 minutes. After arriving in Thasos, take a local bus towards Golden Beach. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes, and you will disembark very close to the beach entrance.
