Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kardamena, start by heading east on the main street, which is also known as ‘Dimokratias Street’. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, passing several shops and cafes on your left and right. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the beach. When you reach the end of the street, turn left onto the beachfront promenade. Follow the promenade for another 5 minutes until you see the large Oleander bushes on your right side along the path leading towards Irakleides. This area is known for its vibrant greenery and is a great spot for a photo opportunity.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kardamena. Most rental shops are located along the main street. After renting your bike, head towards the beach area and follow the beachfront promenade. Continue cycling along the promenade for about 15 minutes until you see the Oleander bushes on your right. Ensure to wear a helmet and adhere to local cycling regulations. The rental cost typically ranges from €5 to €10 per day.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  While public transportation options are limited in Kardamena, you can take a local bus heading towards Irakleides. Check the bus timetable at the bus stop near the main square. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to go to Irakleides. The bus will drop you off in the town, and from there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Oleander bushes. Make sure to have small change ready for the bus fare, which is usually around €2 per person.
