If you are in the main town of Kos, start at the central square (Plateia Eleftherias). From here, head southeast towards the waterfront along Ippokratous Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Akti Kountouriotou. Turn right onto Akti Kountouriotou and follow the road until you see the Statue of Hippocrates on your left, situated near the harbor. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental stations in Kos town. Start at the central square (Plateia Eleftherias) and cycle southeast on Ippokratous Street. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Akti Kountouriotou. The Statue of Hippocrates will be on your left as you approach the harbor. This route is scenic and should take around 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
Although no direct bus service leads to the Statue of Hippocrates, you can take a local bus to the main bus station in Kos town. From the bus station, walk southeast along Ippokratous Street, then turn right onto Akti Kountouriotou. The statue will be on your left. The entire journey, including the bus ride and walking, should take around 30-45 minutes.
