If you are starting from the center of Kos town, head towards the harbor area. Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the view of the sea. Continue past the main square, Plateia Eleftherias, which is a good spot to grab a coffee or snack before your visit. After enjoying the square, proceed to the end of the promenade until you reach the entrance of the Castle of the Knight of Saint John, which is located at the northern tip of the island. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From Kos town, you can take a local bus to the nearest stop to the castle. Head to the bus station located near Plateia Eleftherias. Look for buses heading towards the town of Zia or any local bus that indicates stops near the castle. Get off at the stop closest to the castle, which will be a short walk away. Upon disembarking, follow the signs directing you to the Castle of the Knight of Saint John, located a few minutes away by foot.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Kos town. Head towards the harbor and follow the coastline. Cycling along the promenade is a beautiful experience. After about 10-15 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at the castle. Make sure to park your bike in the designated area near the entrance.
