By Car
If you are driving, start from the city of Skopje. Take the A1 highway heading south toward Tetovo. After about 50 km, take the exit toward Gostivar. Continue on the main road through Gostivar, then follow signs to the village of Koleshino. Once in Koleshino, navigate using your GPS to the coordinates 41.3695082, 22.8068927. There is parking available near the waterfall area. Note that some rural roads may be less maintained, so exercise caution.
By Public Transportation
From Skopje, take a bus to Gostivar from the main bus station (Autobuska stanica). The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Gostivar, transfer to a local bus or a minibus heading towards Koleshino. These local buses may run less frequently, so check the schedule in advance. Upon reaching Koleshino, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to the waterfall, which is located at coordinates 41.3695082, 22.8068927.
Taxi
For more convenience, you can hire a taxi from Skopje directly to Koleshino Waterfall. This option is more expensive than public transportation but offers a direct route. Agree on the fare before starting your journey; it may cost around 35-50 euros depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi service.
Walking from Koleshino Village
If you arrive by public transport or car and park in Koleshino, you will need to walk to the waterfall. Follow the signs or use a mobile map to lead you down the walking path from the village. The hike to the waterfall is approximately 1 km and takes about 15-20 minutes on foot. Wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
