From the Monemvasia Castle entrance, walk through the main street, following signs towards the upper town. The path gradually ascends, passing shops and historical buildings. Continue until you reach a clearing that offers unobstructed views. The walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes. As the town is pedestrian-only, walking is the only way to access the point.

Arriving by KTEL bus at Monemvasia, you will be dropped off in Nea Monemvasia, the new town on the mainland. From there, you can take a local bus or taxi to the entrance of the castle town. Once inside the castle walls, proceed on foot as described in the 'Walking' guidance. A local bus from Nea Monemvasia to the castle entrance costs approximately €1-2. A taxi will cost around €5-7.
