If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Litochoro. Head east on E95 (Olympou Avenue) towards the coast. Continue straight for about 3 km until you see signs for Mount Olympus. Turn onto Unnamed Road, which is well-marked. Býthos is located approximately 5 km from this intersection. Make sure to follow the road signs leading to the nature preserve. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Litochoro to the Mount Olympus area. Buses are available from the main bus station in Litochoro. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the closest bus stop to Býthos, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach the entrance of the nature preserve. Follow the Unnamed Road signs leading to the preserve. If you are already in Litochoro and prefer to walk, you can reach Býthos by taking a scenic route. Start from the main square of Litochoro and head towards the eastern part of the town. Follow the signs for Mount Olympus and take the Unnamed Road leading to the nature preserve. The walk is about 5 km and will take approximately 1 hour.
