If you're traveling by car, head to the village of Litochoro, which is the main gateway to Mount Olympus. From Litochoro, drive along the E65 highway heading toward Dion. After approximately 10 km, take the exit toward Skala - Oropedio Mouson. Follow this road for about 12 km until you reach the Hades Pass area, noted by its stunning views and rugged terrain. Be prepared for some winding roads and ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous driving.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Thessaloniki to Litochoro. Buses run frequently from the KTEL bus station in Thessaloniki, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Litochoro, you can either take a taxi or look for local buses that head toward Skala - Oropedio Mouson. Taxis should be available near the bus station. The taxi ride to Hades Pass will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around 20-30 euros depending on the exact pickup point.
