Experience Yosos Pass

Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the town of Litochoro, head southeast on E65 toward the Mount Olympus National Park. After approximately 10 km, you will reach the entrance of the park. Continue along the road for another 8 km until you reach the 'Prionia' parking area. This is the last point accessible by car. You may need to pay a small parking fee (around €3-€5 per day). From Prionia, you will begin your hike.

    From Prionia, follow the well-marked trail leading towards Yosos Pass. The hike is approximately 3-4 hours on a moderately challenging path. Ensure you have proper hiking gear, water, and snacks. The trail is scenic, offering views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

    If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Dio-Olympos to Litochoro. From there, you can catch a local bus that operates on weekends and holidays to Prionia.
