Walking
From the Petrostrouga Refuge, the pass is a moderate hike. Follow the well-marked trail towards the Muses Plateau. The path gradually ascends through rocky terrain, offering panoramic views. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and plenty of water. The hike takes approximately 2-3 hours to reach the plateau.
Public Transport
To reach the vicinity of Yosos Pass using public transport, take a bus from Thessaloniki or Katerini to Litochoro. From Litochoro, hire a taxi or local transport to Gortsia, a common starting point for hikes to the Muses Plateau. From Gortsia, it's a 5-6 hour hike to the Plateau, passing Yosos Pass along the way.
Driving
Drive from Litochoro towards Prionia. However, to access Yosos Pass, it is best to park at Gortsia, which is before Prionia. From Gortsia, follow the hiking trail towards Petrostrouga Refuge and the Muses Plateau. Yosos Pass is along this route. Parking at Gortsia is limited, especially during peak season.
