If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Arachova. Drive towards the main road (E65) heading towards Livadia. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for signs indicating Parnassos National Park. As you enter the park area, you will find several parking lots available. The coordinates for the park entrance are approximately 38.529852, 22.574822. Be aware that there may be a parking fee, typically around 5-10 euros depending on the season.
By Public Transportation
To reach Parnassos National Park via public transportation, take a bus from Arachova to Delphi. The bus station is located at the center of Arachova. Once in Delphi, you must transfer to a local bus that services the national park area. The journey from Arachova to Delphi takes about 30 minutes, while the connecting bus to the park may take an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the schedule. Check the local bus schedule for exact timings. Keep in mind that the total cost for the bus journey can be around 3-5 euros.
Walking from Nearby Locations
If you are already in Arachova and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route towards the park. From the main square in Arachova, head towards the old stone path that leads into the hills.
