Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Nafplio, near Syntagma Square. Head southeast on Vasileos Konstantinou Street toward the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade where you will find the 1st of May Street. Turn left onto 1st of May Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Aghios Nikolaos Street. Turn right onto Aghios Nikolaos Street, and keep following it as it turns into a dirt road. After about a 30-40 minute walk, you will arrive at Παραλία Κάντιας, which is a beautiful beach area.

From the central bus station in Nafplio, take a local bus heading towards Kandy. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Παραλία Κάντιας. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the beach, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nafplio. Start at Syntagma Square and head southeast on Vasileos Konstantinou Street towards the waterfront.
