Getting There

Walking
Starting from the central square of Nafplio, known as Syntagma Square, head south towards the waterfront. Walk along the promenade, passing by the beautiful cafes and shops. Continue straight until you reach the end of the promenade where you will see the entrance to the path leading up to Ενετικό φρούριο (the Venetian Fortress) on your left. The path is well-marked and will take you uphill with some steps and a gentle incline.

If you are at the Archaeological Museum of Nafplio, exit the museum and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight and take a right onto the street called 'Vasileos Konstantinou'. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the promenade towards the direction of the castle. You will see signs indicating the way to Ενετικό φρούριο. The walk takes approximately 15 minutes.
