If you're driving, start from the city of Heraklion. Head east on the E75 highway towards Agios Nikolaos. After approximately 15 km, take the exit towards Gouves. Follow the signs to Gouves village, and continue on the main road until you reach Gouves. Once in Gouves, look for signs leading to Skotino Cave, which is approximately 7 km south of Gouves. You can park at the designated parking area near the cave entrance.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Heraklion to Gouves. Buses run regularly from the Heraklion bus station to Gouves, with tickets costing around €2-€3. Once you arrive in Gouves, you can either walk (about 1.5 hours) or take a local taxi to Skotino Cave, which is approximately 7 km away.
