The Enchanting Skalia Patreos: A Must-Visit Tourist Attraction in Patras

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Patras Port, walk towards the main square, Plateia Georgiou. From the square, head northwest along the pedestrian street, Agiou Nikolaou. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Patreos street. Turn left onto Patreos and follow the street for about 500 meters. You will see Σκαλιά Πατρέως (Patreos Stairs) on your right, marked by a staircase leading up.

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you are near the main bus station (Ktel Patras), look for a bus heading towards the city center. Once you get off at the main square, Plateia Georgiou, follow the directions for walking from the square. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking from the Archaeological Museum of Patras

  From the Archaeological Museum of Patras, exit the museum and head south towards the main road, Odos Mavromichali. Turn left and walk towards Plateia Georgiou. Once you reach the square, follow the pedestrian street, Agiou Nikolaou and then turn left onto Patreos street. Continue for about 500 meters, and you will find Σκαλιά Πατρέως on your right.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Patras. Simply tell the driver 'Σκαλιά Πατρέως' or provide the address 'Patreos, Patra 262 25'. The taxi ride will take around 5-10 minutes depending on your starting location.
